I think about coaching a lot.
I listen to coaching recordings in my role as a mentor coach and assessor. In my workshop designs, I challenge participants with exercises that capture the "being" and "doing" of coaching, and listen to what they learn. I have honest and insightful conversations with my mentor coaching clients and the students in the Coaching Master Class.
And, of course, I hear my own coaching and pay attention to what's motivating my coaching choices when I'm one-on-one with a client.
From these experiences, I create insightful stories about our coaching experiences as we strive to serve our clients well, stay connected to what we've learned in our coach training, and to adjust to the expectations of the organizations that hire us, and those that assess our coaching. I believe you'll find these stories thought-provoking and maybe even provocative.
